Its the start of the
Its the start of the Empire State Trail, the longest multi-purpose trail in the United States. It doesn't take long to see that the next week will be full of beauty and adventure while on the trail. Many towns and several cities are on the way but the entire time is not so easy as there are plenty of rain showers and down right storms. The Erie Canal and its Locks are a surprising attraction and I spend time documenting them and a bit of their history.

Come along for the ride and see what kind of adventures are around every turn of the road while bicycle touring.
