Welcome back to Hourless Life where we are driving around the world.
In this video, we take you overlanding down 5,000 feet from Quito, Ecuador, to beautiful Mindo Valley. Home of outdoor adventure, hiking, and waterfalls.
We'll take you into the village at the heart of it all and share one of our favorite culinary discoveries: helado de paila. This is an ice cream spun by hand right on the city streets.
For the first time, Caspian narrates an entire hike, taking you along with him to visit majestic waterfalls and dangerous river crossings.

🌎 Who we are and what we’re doing:
We’re Eric + Brittany + Caspian Highland, and we’re driving around the world! We left the United States in October 2021 and arrived in South America during November 2022. Over 10-15 years total, we intend to drive across all six habitable continents. We started traveling full-time in February 2014 and have never looked back.
