To road trip Georgia (country) and explore the incredible scenery enroute to the Davit Geredja monastery complex in south eastern Georgia has unquestionably been the highlight of this Georgia road trip so far. We wander through the remote village of Udabno, enjoy the company of the grazing animals before heading south to the spectacular Davit Gareja monastery right on the Azerbaijani border. Come with us as we travel through breathtaking scenery, rainbow rocks and meet some of the most hospitable people in the world. We're currently in Georgia and (fingers crossed!) we'll get into Azerbaijan, on the edge of the Caspian Sea.
