Patrik Kleemola plays Fernando Sor's "24 very easy exercises op.35", introducing approximately one Exercise a week on this channel. Fernando Sor published his Method for guitar in 1830 and from this period dates the present work originally titled in French "Vingt quatre exercices très faciles et soigneusement doigtés op.35". This work is directly connected to Sor's method as he writes in preface of Op. 35: "These present Exercises will be particularly useful to those people who will study following the method which I am about to publish, because my principal aim has been to put into practise the theory which it contains".
Kleemola plays here the period instrument from the early 19th century (copy of Fabricatore by G.Giussani).
