A fun and easy DIY project: learn how to make a cool origami Finger Fidget Spinner with only 1 sheet of copy paper, without bearings, cuts, holes or glue. It takes only a few minutes to make this paper hand spinner, and it is very easy to make it spin.
The finger fidget spinner is a special type of hand spinner that spins around your finger, and you can make it spin for hours!
Origami Finger Fidget Spinner printable template
To make this DIY hand spinner, all you need is one sheet of copy paper (A4 size or Letter size). You can use plain white printer paper, or you can use my printable template on the https://origami.plus web site to choose your colors and print a ready to fold template.
Choose the colors of your spinner and then download and print the template. If you do not have a printer, you can fold a white sheet of paper and then color it after.
In the video I show how to fold the origami finger spinner using the printed template, but the folds are exactly the same if you use a white sheet.
It is very easy and fast to make this hand spinner, so you can make lots of them and make gifts for all your school or work place. Kids and adults as well will love it!
A lot of DIY fidget spinners are made with bearings, plastic, wood, glue, zip ties, caps, cardboard etc. For some you even need to melt gallium liquid metal in a plastic mould...
Don't have liquid metal at home? Me neither. My hand spinner is made completely out of paper, and there's no need to cut, to glue or to make holes in the paper. It is a pure origami spinner.

To make the finger fidget spinner spin, just put it on your finger, and start spinning your finger. If you do it for a while, you can build strong muscles in your arm! (then you need to do it with your other hand too!).
Once you have folded your origami fidget spinner and practiced a bit, post a video of yourself to show how long you can make it spin!
