I Became A Donkey Cart Driver For A Day

In the 7th Episode of my series "Doing Different Jobs For A Day" I became a donkey cart driver.

A donkey cart driver in Nairobi, where I stay, uses a cart tied to a donkey to deliver a myriad of products and equipment. Among them are:

1. Water
2. Cement
3. Stones

And any load that needs carrying. The job however doesn't come without its challenges; Managing a donkey is no easy task, and therefore this job requires a donkey and its owner to operate daily from a position of mutual respect and understanding.

Added to that, there is the usual drudgery of a job like this;

1. Navigating highways
2. Accidents caused by the cart on roads
3. Loading and unloading the cart
4. Competition from other cart drivers
etc.

I worked alongside Boni, a jovial and energetic man who really cares for his donkey. The donkey's name is Toto. haha (Like Toto Wolf)
