Belgrade lies on the borders between European and Turkish influences, which has created an enigmatic mix of cultures. It offers a wonderful joy of life and a vibrant coffee culture. In addition, it has a compact center, which can be easily visited on foot. Many downtown streets are pedestrianized, which increases your comfortable mobility.
Knez Mihailova street is extremely lively and full of many restaurants and shops. There are lots of stores, restaurant , and cafes. Good for people watching. Listen to/watch various street performers. Buy souvenirs. Lots of options here and nice atmosphere The street is cozy - around 850m long, one of better streets in Balkan area together with Kralja Milana Street. Knez Mihailova street is main pedestrian area of Belgrade and heart of the city. Excellent place with restaurants, bars and shops.
