Craving and addictive feelings tend to trigger the same signalling and response in the brain as stress and anxiety do. Therefore, it's possible to use EFT tapping (also known as the emotional freedom technique) to reduce the stress and craving signals in the brain and reduce the craving feelings. Whenever the brain moves out of a stress response, we will no longer experience strong compulsive emotions or feelings.
This can be applied to cravings connected to food, drinks, chocolate, substances, gambling and so on.
