Hello Friends! This video is about Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) versus Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD). The symptoms that come along with TMD can certainly overlap with the symptoms of TN and therefore TMD can often mimic TN.
In this video, I explain the symptoms that are common with Trigeminal Neuralgia, the theory behind the diagnosis, and how TN can sometimes actually be TMD in disguise. We have treated patients who have been diagnosed with TN with success in my TMJD-only practice and I'd like to share my experiences as a way to help more people!
