Is Selene The Next Mutant To Join Sabretooth in Hickman's Prison? | Krakin' Krakoa #160

In House of X #6,
In House of X #6, the mutant Sabertooth, longtime archenemy of Wolverine, is cast into Krakoan exile by Professor X and the Quiet Council. In the words of Professor X, Sabertooth's punishment is an exile of being “alive but immobile, aware but unable to act... forever" Which is pretty damn rough, even for Creed.
Since that time, through the Dawn of X and now into the Reign of X, we're yet to see anyone else meet Sabretooth's fate, and apart from the Quiet Council, I'm not even sure anyone else knows this is how Krakoa treats their greatest mutant problems. Nonetheless, recent events in the pages of Captain America have set up a strong possibility for Sabertooth's lone cell mate: Selene, the once and future first mutant!

I was definitely sleeping on Selene's relevance to the Ta-Nehisi Coates era of Captain America, thinking that her early appearances in the first few issues of the run were likely done away with during the Hickman era of X-Men. During our live draft of all-new X-Men rosters with comedian Jay Jurden, though, my STRONG #3 pick of Selene was met with some absolute headshaking by fans telling me her recent appearances in Captain America made this nearly impossible. So naturally, I caught up on the run, and I see their point!
