Oven-cooked pork ribs, tender and juicy, with a special sauce is an excellent meal you can serve to a festive table, friends’ or family dinner. Tender roasted pork ribs can be perfectly accompanied with a vegetable side dish, potato or rice. And it is quite easy to cook such a dish and success is assured. Full recipe at www.vsegdavkusno.ru/recipes/svinye-rebryshki-zapec… Ingredients: • pork ribs – 1 kg Sauce: • bulb onion – 280 g • garlic – 2 cloves (15 g) • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp • chili flakes – ½ tsp (to taste) • sugar – 60 g • ketchup – 250 g • soy sauce – 80 ml • salt – ½ tsp • ground black pepper – 1 tsp Glaze: • ketchup – 100 g • apple vinegar – 1 tbsp • sugar – 1 tbsp • hot chili sauce – ½ tsp • paprika – ½ tsp • dried garlic – ½ tsp • ground black pepper – ½ tsp • salt – ½ tsp You will need: • oven • baking tray • food foil • bowl • pan • carving board Preparation: 1. Peel and cut the bulb onion into half rings, garlic cloves into thin slices. 2. Pour 2 tbsp of vegetable oil into a pan and fry the bulb onion and garlic for 4-5 minutes over medium heat. 3. Add the salt, ground black pepper, chili flakes and sugar, stir and simmer over medium heat for a minute. 4. Add the soy sauce and ketchup into the pan, stir, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes more over low heat. 5. Lay the foil into four layers on a baking sheet, brush with small amount of vegetable oil, lay the pork ribs onto the center of the baking tray and pour with the prepared sauce. 6. Preheat oven to 170°C. Wrap the pork ribs neatly into the foil and put into the oven. Bake at 170°C for 1 hour 20 minutes. 7. Meanwhile let’s make a glazing sauce. In a bowl combine the sugar, apple vinegar, salt, black pepper, dried garlic, paprika, hot chili sauce and ketchup. 8. In 1 hour 20 minutes take the baking tray out of the oven, unwrap the pork ribs and brush with the prepared glazing sauce. Put back into the oven unwrapped for 20 minutes at 180°C mode. 9. Before serving let the pork ribs cool down a bit. Serve your oven-roasted pork ribs with fresh veggies, rice or potato. Advices: 1. You can roast vegetables together with pork ribs. 2.
