UC Davis School of Medicine's 2023 Induction Ceremony welcomed 137 new students and marked a key moment in the students’ journeys to becoming physicians and physician-scientists.Family, friends and loved ones cheered on the future doctors as they received their stethoscopes and recited the medical student pledge of ethics (in 20 different languages!), signifying their huge accomplishment and commitment to their medical education journeys.
Keynote speaker Melody Le Tran-Reina, assistant health sciences clinical professor, reminded the incoming class why they were accepted to UC Davis and the importance of their role as future doctors.
