POW/MIA Ceremony 2021, Veterans Day, West High AFJROTC CA-20161

2021 West High School Veterans Day Ceremony, hosted by the West High Air Force JROTC, unit CA-20161. The POW/MIA Ceremony featured senior cadets in their final year of the JROTC program. After a year and a half of remote learning and shutdowns; students/staff, district, and county representatives came together to celebrate Veterans Day. The guest speaker was Congressman Josh Harder, representing California's 10th congressional district. The event was inter-departmental, with the West High orchestra playing Amazing Grace, Taps, and America the Beautiful. The choir sang the National Anthem, and FFA created the wreath and placed it near the POW/MIA table. The event was held in the gym with an over flow crowd, and live streamed into all the classrooms.
