In this video, I go over the basics of creating a simple wired local area network (LAN).
The following hardware was used to create the LAN:
1. A desktop computer (Windows) with a built-in Ethernet port
2. A Macbook
3. USB C to Ethernet adapter for the Macbook
4. Two LAN/Patch cables
5. Wireless router with built-in switch
