Erhan and Wagner summarize Eastern vs. Western views of the Filioque.

Notice that Erhan admits that he hasn't seriously studied the Latin Fathers in the West, so he doesn't really bother reconciling them with the Eastern Fathers.  On the other hand, Christian Wagner shows how the Catholic Church can reconcile the Eastern and Western views of the Filioque quite well.
