Mughlai cuisine consists of dishes developed in the medieval Indo-Persian cultural centers of the Mughal Empire. It represents a combination of cuisine of the Indian subcontinent with the cooking styles and recipes of Central Asian and Islamic cuisine. Try our version of this beef dish which requires a few steps to make.

What you need:
1/2 kg beef.
1 medium sized onion.
1 1/2 tsp salt.
1 1/2 tsp kashmiri lal mirch.
1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
1 1/2 tsp cumin powder.
1 1/2 tsp coriander powder.
1 1/2 tsp garam masala.
1 1/2 tsp chilli flakes.
1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
3 tbsp ground cashew nuts.
3 tbsp full cream.
1 black cardamom.
4 cloves.
4-5 black peppercorns.
1/2 cup yogurt.
Oil.

Steps:
Add all the spices, ginger garlic paste and yogurt in 1/2 kg beef. Mix well, cover and marinate for at least 4 hours. Thinly slice your onion and fry till slightly brown. Add black cardamom, cloves and black peppercorns and fry for few minutes. Add the marinated beef and fry till oil is released. Add 6 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook till beef is thoroughly cooked. Add ground cashew nuts and full cream. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Garnish with freshly cut coriander leaves.
