Harbor Freight Sawmill broken crank fix

So it happened the hand crank that lowers and raises the saw broke on me and I only had this saw for about 3 weeks cut maybe 8 logs apparently this is very common for this to happen and their is no videos on the repair that I could find, so I fixed the issue with 3/4 inch all thread rod and a coupling nut from the local hardware store
