When urban sketching using watercolour
When urban sketching using watercolour paint first followed by the ink linework can seem a bit counterintuitive. It really makes little difference and is perfect for urban sketching. Here I show you how to paint first and line after.

Urban Sketching requires minimal equipment and therefore is a very accessible for newbies. It is essentially not only a reflection of your landscape but also what it means to be within the fabric of it. You can include the people, the street furniture and interpret those details any way you want. The sketchbook is a playground. It can also be a very sociable art form with urban sketching groups in most cities.
