To see the most lavish display of Christmas lights and decorations in Paris, head straight to Champs Élysées, where over a million (yes, literally!) sparkling lights cover the 400 street trees between Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe.
As you walk along the sidewalk, you'll also see festive decorations and even more lights in most of the stores lining this famous avenue.
Although the Christmas lights usually stay on from 5pm to 2am, they will shine all night for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
Avenue Montaigne :
Christmas begins on Avenue Montaigne and rue François 1er from November 19, 2022, and until January 2, 2023, with Christmas lights. As usual, streets are adorned with garlands and trees for the greatest joy of Parisians, tourists luxury store customers. And this year, Plaza Athénée's current chef Jean Imbert is to inaugurate this new edition of the Christmas llights.
Despite the energy sobriety plan initiated by the Comité Montaigne and adhering houses, Christmas and Holidays magic reinforce their solidarity-driven and green committment by taking part in the energy sobreity plan.
LED lights, shorter lightning time and period (from 5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.) are here to help cut energy consimption. Furthermore, Avenue Montaigne houses have also taken the initiative to turn off the lights of the windows at 10 p.m. at the latest every evening.
