Test Procedure:
- Creating a project in Cubase 7.5 (16 bit, 44100), import the reference tracks (WAV)
- Adjust the monitor's controls: bass and treble - in default position, the volume - in maximum position
- The alignment of the monitors in an isosceles triangle: side length of 220 cm, minimum 30 cm from the walls
- The alignment of the stereo pair of microphones MXL 603S, with cardioid capsules: 45 cm perpendicular to the acoustic axis, about 175 cm between the capsules
- Connect the monitor via the DAC Presonus Central Station and microphone preamplifiers interface through Emu 1616m, adjust the volume of the each channel (SPL 85 dB from the capsule)
- Adjust mic preamps, listen to loud areas (to avoid clipping), broadband test phasing Voxengo PHA-979
- Recording material with clipping control
- Adjusting the average volume between tracks and channels of each track, the calibration frequency response of microphones MXL 603S (watch: Калибровка любого микрофона, для изме...)
- editing of audio and video, rendering video (720p, audio AAC 320kbit, 44100)
