Our Earth had faces 5 major/mass extinctions in the past 500 million years. The last one was caused by an asteroid which wiped out the entire Dinosaur Species. Mass extinctions happen due many different natural reasons like asteroid, climate change, volcanic eruptions, and so on. But the next Mass Extinction is caused by Humans themselves! Actually, we are currently closing to the next Mass Extinction, known as The Holocene Mass Extinction. Different kind of species are going extinct each day. It took about 450 crore years for Earth fill with life. Yet, it took only 450 years for Humans to destroy it! Everything started with the industrial revolution. The gases from the factories and motor vehicles are releasing a huge amount of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere each day. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, which traps heat in the atmosphere and warm up the planet. Due to the rapid increment of deforestation, atmospheric co2 won't reduce fast enough to cool down Earth. If this continues, the co2 level will be too much and the temperature rises to the point where it is not reversible. Then the Ocean will start to slowly evaporate and due to the heat, it will not be cooled down and there will not be anymore precipitation to refill the oceans. This will cause the atmosphere to heat up more and more. Thus the Earth will slowly turns into a hellish planet, like Venus. This will cause any life on Earth to suffocate and will eventually die out. That will be the End of the World. No more life could sustain on Earth after that. Apart from all these, Humans are causing atleast of 100 species to go extinct each day! This is due to many reasons including deforestation, air pollution, water pollution, nuclear waste dumbing, plastic pollution and even hunting. Humans have caused tens of thousand of animals to become at the verge of extinction. Due to Humans, thousand of animals are now very Rare Animals. We are literally killing our own Planet, Earth.
