Adolf Hitler and other Nazi leaders on launching platform. LS an unidentified woman releases the champagne to christen the ship. The name plate "Tirpitz" drops down into view. Good shot of the bow of the ship as it moves down the slipway. People are singing the German National Anthem. The ship slides smoothly into the water. Quick shot of the Fuhrer on the podium. The ship moves out into the water - only the hull is finish the superstructure has not yet been built.
