This video contains Factorytalk View macro examples of how to create a FTView macro.

You can create macros to perform almost any action or series of actions. For
example, use a macro to:

 Open a group of graphic displays, and define their initial positions.
 Define temporary key definitions.
 Close any open graphic displays.
 Set tag values.

__________

STEP BY STEP

0:00:11
Open the HMI tags window

0:00:17
Here we can create internal tags for the application

0:00:35
Let's crate a tag type digital

0:00:54
Open the Macro window

0:01:02
Double-click on the window for checking the macro options

0:01:08
This windows shows all the commands and macros

0:01:21
Same as graphic options

0:01:35
Alarms commands

0:01:39
Datalog options

0:01:58
This example illustrate the expression IF

0:02:02
By selecting the internal tag we just created

0:02:22
and the expression equal to == 1

0:02:31
We set its value to zero

0:02:38
Thus that is how to create a macro in FTView
