Diese schwachen Objekte müssen wir nicht nur wenige Sekunden, sondern oft mehrere Minuten lang belichten.
Wenn wir die Montierung einfach laufen lassen, beginnen hier die Probleme: unschöne Strichspuren auf dem Bild.

Autoguiding with the telescope.
Photos of deep sky objects belong to the royal class of astrophotography.
We have to expose these faint objects not only for a few seconds, but often for several minutes.
If we just let the mount run, this is where the problems start: unsightly line marks on the image.
