How to get ULMB 2 working on AMD GPU? (PG27AQN, XB273U, ...)

This video shows how to get ULMB 2 working on AMD GPU with the help of Custom Resolution Utility (CRU). The main issue is that AMD drivers don't let you completely disable FreeSync, but we can easily bypass that.

The only issue right now is how to update the monitor, I have no way of testing this since I've already updated mine before moving to team red. My guess is that the updater won't let you proceed and you will have to ask a friend with NVIDIA GPU to update it for you. If you managed to update the monitor with AMD GPU please let me know in the comments below.
