First Day Snowboarding in 27 Years! Perfect North Slopes - Opening Day 2022-2023 Season

Here's what it was like for me to get back on a snowboard after 27 years away from the sport! Scary, but fun!

I used to BE a snowboarder. I worked at a ski shop and spent nearly every non work hour in the mountains in Alaska for several years. Life happened, I quit boarding in 1995, and then moved to Ohio in 2008. I never gave skiing or boarding another serious thought until a few years ago. After skiing several times the last few seasons, mostly at Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, I decided to give snowboarding a try again. I survived.
