In this video, I’m going to demystify the game development process, so by the end, you’ll have a comprehensive understanding of how video games are made.
We’ll start by looking at game engines like Unity, Unreal, and Godot, which are where all the magic happens.
From there, I’ll explain how to create assets—such as sprites for 2D games and models for 3D games—and animate them to bring your characters and environments to life. We’ll also dive into coding, which is essential for giving instructions to the game engine and creating the desired behaviors and interactions.
Finally, we’ll cover how to enhance your game with sound, music, and special effects like shaders and particles. It’s a challenging but incredibly rewarding process, and I’ll provide tips on how to get started with game development.
If you're new to our channel, we're Brandon & Nikki from Sasquatch B Studios. We sold our house to start our game studio, and work full time on building our business and making our game Samurado.
