Types of earthing system/TN/TT/IT earthing system

Earthing is a process of connecting metallic bodies of electrical equipment to earth through a low resistance wire.
Why earthing is important?
Protection from electrical shock
Alternate path for fault current
Protection of electrical equipment
Common reference point
There are different types of earthing system namely
TN system
TT system
IT system
Here T denotes the earth derived from French/Latin word
N refers to neutral
I for Isolated.
Each of these earthing system has its own advantages and disadvantages.
