Patnaik has been the chief minister of Odisha for 17 years, serving your fourth consecutive term and among the longest-serving CMs in the country. Speaking about the secret of his success, the CM said, "I think it has to do with our anti-poverty programmes, our fight against corruption. Also, the efficiency of our programmes, particularly for women, tribal people, scheduled castes and the poor".
