- To add columns to a row we take help of Bootstrap col class.
Note:
- Bootstrap follows 12 column grid system i.e. each row is divided into 12 columns
- If you want you can explicitly set how many columns an HTML element must span in a row. Syntax:
col-numberOfColumnsToSpan
Note:
- Sum of col-spans in a row must add up to 12; if it exceeds then HTML elements are pushed down
Note:
Using responsive breakpoints; we can control how many columns an element should span in different devices of different screens
Note:
- To design a section of a webpage or entire layout of a webpage; we take help of Bootstrap containers.
- Container is a collection of rows
- Row is a collection of columns
- Colums hold actual content
