Nylon dhokla is a very easy and simple recipe. It turns out nice, fluffy and light. It remains soft for longer time. The measurements given are perfect to make fluffy dhokla. We are making this dhokla in steamer. We have seen dhokla recipe in microwave. This can be a perfect snack recipe. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 1 cup Water
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp Sugar
• 1 tsp Citric acid
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 1 1/2 cup Besan
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp Baking soda
• Water
• 1 tsp Sugar
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1 tsp Mustard seeds
•  3~4 Green chilies
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method:
• Take water in a bowl and add salt, sugar, citric acid, oil.
• Mix everything well together for about 4-5 minutes until sugar, citric acid is dissolved.
• Sieve besan, turmeric powder into the bowl and beat the mixture in one direction for about 4-  
 5 minutes until the mixture becomes light.
• You can use hand blender for this purpose.
• Cover and rest the batter for about 10-15 minutes.
• Add baking soda and mix in quickly.
• Pour out the batter into a tray and tap it well.
• Steam the dhokla in steamer on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
• You can use cooker or kadhai in place of steamer. Just remove the whistle of the cooker
 before steaming.
• Turn off the gas and let the dhokla be in the steamer for another 5 minutes.
• Check the dhokla with tooth pick. If it comes out clean it means dhokla is steamed well.
• Take the tray out and let the dhokla cool down.
• Dissolve sugar in water to make sugar syrup. You can add a pinch of salt in it if you want.
• For tadka heat up oil in a tadka pan and add mustard seeds.
• When mustard seeds pop up turn off the gas and add green chilies.
• You can add sesame seeds or curry leaves in tadka if you want.
• When dhokla cools down cut it into pieces and add sugar syrup on it.
• Rest the dhokla for about 10-15 minutes.
• Add tadka on the dhokla and sprinkle coriander leaves.
• Take the dhokla out of the tray and nylon dhokla is all ready.
• You can serve it with green chutney or sweet tamarind chutney.
