How To Create Your Own Stencil - Mixed Media Techniques, Episode 041 of Mixed Media Soul Sparks
Use a hot glue gun to create your own stencil, learn tricks to make ready-made stencils uniquely yours, incorporate packing materials and other tips on design and color.

SUPPLIES
Hot glue gun-regular or fine tip
Cooking parchment paper
Packing material
Stencil Girl stencil
Book or board
Cosmetic sponge
Scrap paper
I worked on an Ampersand panel that already had some paint on it in colors of red, orange, gold and dark green
I demonstrated using Dioxazine Purple Cobalt Teal, Titanium white
I finished the piece using more Cobalt Teal and White, Naphthol Red Light and Gold
I went over the paper cutouts with Quinacridone Nickle Azo Gold and glued with gel
