"To be victorious and not to succumb - is a victory." Here is the motto that lives in the lives of three young friends: Alek, Zośka and Rudy. Scouts, graduates of the Warsaw High School, ambitious plans for the future interrupted by September 1939. They enter adulthood in the dramatic times that make them choose to live - to survive at all costs or to join the fighting for free Homeland, risking everything. Boys, raised in patriotic homes, shaped by scout ideals, decide to fight. They become soldiers and, although they are dying each day, they can live a full life. They fight with sacrifice and honor. They leave "like stones thrown by God on a shed", leaving behind a great lesson of friendship, honor and love for the homeland.
The story of youth, love and friendship. About a hero that has a great price and a fight that has become a legend.
They were young, thirsty for life. There was nothing impossible for them.
One day they woke up in a world where there was no place for dreams. They stood before the choice: to stoop humbily or risk their own lives. They had no experience or weapons, but they found the courage and strength to resist the Nazi machine. They believed in friendship, freedom, in Poland. They had ideals. They entered the road from which there was no retreat. They were like stones thrown on a shed ...
