The FIRST DIY LUSH BATH BOMB WITH DEMO !

Who doesn't love the fizziness, relaxing smell and bubbly sensation of bath bombs in the tub! This tutorial is super fun and easy! DIY Lush Bath bombs ! This bath bomb is a popular one at Lush and it is called Sex Bomb. It has the essential oils: jasmine, clary sage and ylang yang which are known as powerful aphrodisiacs and THAT is why it is called SEX BOMB! This goes for nearly $7 with tax in Canadian. Recreate this awesome bath bomb at home and make more for your friends for an awesome gift! They'll LOVE IT ! ah BATH BOMBS! Tune in at the end for the bath bomb demonstration!
This recipe will make 3 bath bombs. If you want to make more then you can double or triple, or quadruple the recipe - watch the video for the amount !
Dry:
-Baking Soda -I stored left over baking soda in a baking powder container so please don't be confused ! make sure you use BAKING SODA as it is the best reactant!
Citric Acid *try cream of tartar or lemon juice -but I bought mine from a spice store, or they sell this at Wal-mart in the U.S.A as well, I've heard. Try a health food store as well
- Corn starch
- Epsom Salt : customize to lavender or eucalyptus
Wet Ingredients:
-coconut oil *substitute it for extra virgin olive oil
-essential oil: customize it to however you want it to smell ! Bought mine from Escents *you can substitute for fragrance oil but make sure it is safe for the skin
- water
- food colouring : I used the neon pack which has the pink and voilet colour you need. Customize it to whatever colour you like! If you are wondering if the food colouring will stain your skin…it WON'T ! It's only a small content and it is already broken up with the rest of the ingredients, so you're good to go. Just wear some gloves when mixing so you won't get it on your hands like ME. boo.
Texture: should be like wet sand and clumps in your hands
If it doesn't clump together, add a little more liquid-whether that's more oil or water
If your bath bomb expands when it is dry, that means there was too much liquid !
Don't forgot to USE GLOVES if you are making these as gifts ! It will also leave your hands cleaner !
