Cape/Common Wolf Snake (Lycophidion capense) | Herping South Africa
During our search for the elusive Albany adder, we came across this amazing species. Although quite commonly found, this was a first-time encounter for me, which made this trip just so much more amazing.
The Common/Cape wolf snake is quite difficult to distinguish from the extremely venomous stiletto snake, so it is best to leave these snakes alone when crossing paths.
As always, remember to stand for what we stand on.
