Learning to paint rocks &
Learning to paint rocks & pebbles that look realistic will give you another element to add to your wildlife paintings.
The addition of some pebbles alongside a main subject will help to set the scene, and place your animal or bird within a natural environment. However, the painting of the rocks needs to be approached in the right way, in order that the details and shapes are built up to look realistic. This real-time video follows on from an earlier sepia study, which you can find here: https://bit.ly/327AiTW In the earlier video tutorial we focused on the tones, which ultimately give the piece a realistic feel.
