Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla 25-Year Master Plan

Construction has begun on the Scripps Cardiovascular Institute, the first phase in a 25-year master plan to redesign Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla into a regional medical campus. In addition to the destination heart care facility of the Scripps Cardiovascular Institute, the hospital campus will include two additional hospital towers, two medical office buildings and a central energy plant. The existing hospital will be razed and rebuilt to meet state seismic standards.
