Panna cotta is the Italians' take on jelly. At its most basic, it's just cream jelly. Or it may be cream and milk jelly for those who want it a little lighter. Some people embellish their panna cotta with speckles of vanilla seeds. I like raspberries with mine. They have a fruity tartness that goes very well with cream and milk. And their gorgeous colour makes panna cotta so Instagrammable.
