MiniDV cassette tape & full channel record

MiniDV is a Digital Video mini format cassette tape system launched in 1995. It was developed alongside FireWire, the IEEE1394 standard link also known as iLink. FireWire was great for attaching data backup devices. Janus Cycle had 10Gb of video data in need of a backup.
