Explore sustainable options for undocumented
Explore sustainable options for undocumented students at CUNY, DACA is currently discussed at a Texas court and it has been challenged by some States. The forum will be composed of four panelists and one moderator (one panelist will be over zoom). There will be 1 to 1 conversations, each segment will have different duration depending on the depth of the issue. Pre-recorded questions from students will be used to prompt responses from the guests who will be all together at the last part of the forum.

Janet Calvo, Professor at CUNY School of Law (extensive studies about PRUCOL)
Jesus Perez, Director of Immigrant Student Success Center at Brooklyn College.

In the documentary series ‘I Am A Dreamer’, we see the experience of DREAMers & undocumented immigrants, we go into their lives, their dreams and their struggles in this city. Through fast-paced images and heartfelt stories we hope to inspire our audience to be socially active and also to support the organizations that are working on behalf of the thousands of undocumented immigrants, so ‘I Am A Dreamer’ is a tool to engage the audience in social change.
In the production process we make sure to create a safe space for the people involved telling their stories of migration.
The series started in 2017, as a reaction to the cancellation of DACA by the Trump Administration and we are currently producing our 6th season.
