Abraham and Ardbeg 10 (why a smoky scotch goes well with a smoky sacrifice)

I'm asking the question: If Abraham was going to be the father of nations, then why did God ask him to sacrifice his son and heir? And why is the Ardbeg 10 so very, very good?

In this episode, we'll enjoy a dram of one of Islay's most smoky Whiskies, the Ardbeg 10 and consider what the journey up  the mountain must have been like for both Abraham and Isaac. I'm betting Abe could have done with a wee dram himself after that ordeal.

I use the 'Richard Paterson' method of Scotch Whisky appreciation. All credit to him, I did not invent this method of drinking Scotch. This method is a great introduction to Scotch Whisky and Whisky appreciation.
The steps to Scotch tasting are: 'Clean the glass' with a drop of Whisky, nose it, hold it on the palate and finally, swallow. If you ever wanted to know the best way to appreciate Scotch or drink Scotch, this is it (in my opinion).

Disclaimer: I'm not a qualified Theologian or Pastor. I'm not trying to give detailed theological answers, nor am I trying to position myself pastorally. I'm just a man trying to live and work in my giftings.  In my experience, sipping on and appreciating a dram of Single Malt Scotch Whisky while chewing over the word of God, is one of the best ways to relax, wind down, spend time with God and just be still for a moment. I hope you'll join me for a few of these sessions. Drink responsibly.
