This 37-acre property will be the future home of the Oakland Athletics.   Owned by billionaire Phil Ruffin, it’s called the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.  

The land has many advantages over other places like Summerlin, Nevada.  First, its smack in the middle of the North Las Vegas Strip.   Second, there are no building structures to be demolished.  Third, its served by the nearby Las Vegas Monorail.  Fourth, it’s surrounded by top quality hotels and the current Circus Circus is also owned by Mr. Ruffin.  

The A’s President Dave Kaval has invested a great deal of time evaluating this property, as has Major League Baseball.
