Cheap Drum Practice Pad | Anyone Can Make

I always hated the idea of spending money on a practice pad. If I was going to spend $50 on something musical, I wanted to put that towards something I can use in a performance. I've made some attempts at practice pads in the past, but then I saw this a stool top at the hardware store.

A lot of the time those cheap practice pads are too small but a 12" stool top would work perfectly. Just a few other items to complete it and with in an afternoon I had a practice pad that has lasted me over 5 years and counting.
