How to vacuum an Intex pool with a standard pool vacuum head and hose

If you're sick of the little venturi vacuum that you have to connect to your garden hose and that doesn't pick up anything smaller than a leaf, and you have the Intex metal frame pool with the large skimmer, here's a way to connect a standard pool vacuum to your pump and use the pump as a vacuum.
Update: After I made this video I realized that it was a pain to clean the paper filter on a daily basis. I also got sick of cleaning the screen behind the blue coupling. I did two things. One, I installed the Intex sand filter. HUGE improvement. You can go several days without having to back flush it to clean it (maybe longer if your pool isn't under a tree like mine!). It is relatively easy to install. You just have to carefully enlarge the intake holes on the side of the pool with a utility knife to teh correct size. Two, I unscrewed the blue coupling and knocked out the grating behind it (just the grating...you need the rest of the fitting to screw the blue coupling to). It's plastic and came out just by prying at it with a screw driver. ( I read that tip somewhere so all credit to that unknown person). Now it doesn't clog behind the blue coupling.
