This is for all DJI and Autel drones, not just for the Mini 2 and Air 2S. How to Upgrade or Downgrade Firmware | DJI & Autel!

Please note that Drone-Hacks is not just a modding tool, it's also a great alternative to the DJI Assistant 2 software suite. DJI Assistant 2 has become very confusing with so many different versions like:
DJI Assistant 2 (Mavic Pro, Mavic Air, DJI Goggles RE, Mavic Pro Platinum, DJI Spark, DJI Goggles, Inspire 2, Osmo Mobile, Matrice 100 and Ronin-MX)
DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic (Mavic 2, Mavic 2 Enterprise Series, DJI Smart Controller, Mavic Mini, Mavic Air 2)
DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series) (Matrice 600, Matrice 600 Pro, Matrice 200 Series v2, Matrice 200 Series, Matrice 300 RTK, Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced)
DJI Assistant 2 for Phantom (Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Pro, Phantom 4 Advanced, Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, Phantom 4 RTK, Phantom 4 Multispectral)
DJI Assistant 2 for FPV (DJI Goggles, DJI Goggles RE, DJI Digital FPV System, DJI FPV)
and now DJI Assistant 2 for Consumer Drones (DJI Mini 2, DJI Air 2S, DJI Mini SE)
If you take a look at the above... the support is all over the place!!
This makes it very confusing for beginners to know which DJI Assistant 2 download they must select.
Using Drone-Hacks will make your life so much easier and you get the benefit of modding/changing parameters if you should wish to. Drone Hacks even supports Autel drones like the Autel X-Star, Autel Evo and Autel Evo 2 8k and Autel Evo 2 Pro.

So many problems with both DJI and Autel drones are solved by simply reloading the drone's firmware. DJI calls it a "firmware refresh".

It enables your flash firmware directly to your drone, all you need is to manually self download the required firmware files from DankDroneDownloader's website.
Drone Hacks also gives you the added benefit of additional mods like enabling FCC, removing no-fly zones (NFZ) as well as altitude limits - if your drone supports it.
It also gives you the ability to modify drone parameters to increase speed or tilt angle, etc.
