The Orphan spirit is the spirit in all of us that reacts to the trauma we cannot explain and it impacts how we see ourselves and the world we live in.  As a result of this spirit, we tend to live a life looking for what is already inside of us. We're trapped in our trauma and it seems like there is no way out but this message has exactly what you need to deal with and overcome your trauma.

When you learn that who you are isn't what you did, then you don't have to abandon life because somebody is not pleased with what you did. It is the purpose of a parent to guide what you do, but who you are, it's up to you.

Self-worth cannot be found in the opinions of other people. You will never know how much you are worth if you wait for somebody else to tell you who you are. You don't have to wait on anybody to define or give you your identity. Otherwise, you will be defined by people who benefit from your dysfunction. Knowing who you are will be the greatest discovery of your life.

The Orphan spirit relentlessly attacked David because he felt abandoned by his father, but he didn't allow his trauma to kill him. Make sure the kid in you doesn't kill the king in you. Don't let the smallest parts of you rob the biggest person that you are because God is about to allow you to stand on the stage of your life and exercise the gifts that are within you. You’ll never be able to become what God made you to be if you allow your trauma to kill you.  

The next time the enemy tries to make you think you've been abandoned by God say these words, “I am what God says, I am going to become what God says I'm going to be, and I'm going to do what God says I can do in the name of Jesus”.
