I think every violinist sometimes wonders how it would be to play the rich, deep sounds of the cello. And with octave strings, you can!
In this video, I'm showing you how I turned my electric 5-string violin into a cello using octave strings, what bow I use and why, why it's best to use octave strings on an electric violin, what it's like to transition from a 4-string to a 5-string violin and ofcourse: how a "chin cello" sounds!
