FieldLink Tip 5: Large model support-2024 Revit plugin, Navisworks, Connect Desktop, etc

Trimble FieldLink can bring in Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla, SketchUp and really any type of 3D or 2D (PDF!).  Utilizing the Connect Plugin for Revit 2024 and Connect Desktop for Navisworks can help with optimizing large models.

Field Tips
-Use the layer/model view options to only show what is needed
-Section box/turn off what isn't needed

Office tips
-Test/convert in the office before sending to the field
-Use the Connect Revit 2024 plugin to clip large models with a 3D view only export.
-Convert Navisworks (NWD) in Connect Desktop
-Clip/Merge the model in Connect Desktop
-Check everything is visible on Connect Web before loading it in the field.
