Partners' Briefing on COVID-19 - WHO-SEARO

The WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia, New Delhi, organized the third edition of the WHO Dialogue which focused on a briefing for Health Partners on Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). The Briefing, attended by over 60 participants, provided a platform for sharing information about epidemiological situation of COVID-19 in the SEA Region, clarifying questions and strengthening the partnership to respond to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak. The guest speaker, Professor (Dr) Randeep Guleria, Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India, presented the update of the virus situation and the preparedness measures in India. The WHO Representatives from the eleven countries in the South-East Asia Region connected virtually shared information about the situation in their respective countries.
