Hey guys, we did the ultimate test to see which base bourbon makes the best Old Fashioned! Some notes:
- We did this test in two weeks time; please do not try this at home! We paced ourselves and did not drink 15 cocktails at once. Always drink in moderation.
- We didn't use any single barrels (except for Blanton's, since every bottle is single barrel) because we wanted to get the same or similar type of bottle that you would get at your local retailer or grocery store.
- We completely randomized the cocktails so the process was completely blind - we didn't want any preconceived notions to affect our decisions!

The recipe for the Old Fashioned was:
• 2 oz bourbon
• 1 barspoon simple syrup
• 3 dashes angostura bitters
• 3 dashes orange bitters
• garnish of lemon and orange peel
